As the largest Asian American cultural center of its kind in North America, the JACCC sustains a diverse program of cultural and community events throughout the year. Each event and program has always been made possible by the hardwork and generosity of our volunteers.
For more information about volunteering at the JACCC, please contact Janet Hiroshima at (213) 628-2725 ext. 128 or email jhiroshima@jaccc.org
Special Events
We are indebted to our volunteers who have helped us with many of our community festivals and cultural events over the years. We are continually looking for volunteers who are willing to donate their time and hard work to many of these special events that wouldn't be possible without their support.
- Children's Day
- SushiMasters
- Anniversary Dinner
- And More!
Gallery Volunteers
The George J. Doizaki Gallery is the site for more than 13 exhibitions per year, from traditional to contemporary arts. The JACCC is looking for volunteers to work as gallery monitors and also to help with the set-up of many of our unique exhibits.
Garden Enthusiasts Wanted!
The JACCC is looking for friends of the community to volunteer as gardeners and docents to work in the newly restored James Irvine Japanese Garden.
