In celebration of its 24th year, the Japanese Language Scholarship Foundation (DBA: Aurora Foundation) welcomes world-renowned Soprano Asako Tamura on Sunday, November 20, 2022, for the 24th Anniversary Aurora Benefit Concert in L.A. featuring Asako Tamura.
Soprano Asako Tamura has been praised by the press for her exquisite tonartistic sensitivity, and mesmerizing stagecraft as well as being a first-class sing actress, a brilliant jewel of a voice, blessed with glittering soprano.
Asako has performed a wide variety of roles in Europe and the USA since 2002 when she sang with Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, and Luciano Pavarotti as the female soloist in the Three Tenors Concert in Yokohama before the World Cup Championship. Recently she was honored to sing the National Anthem as the first foreign opera singer at the Exhibition Game of the Yankees vs the Nationals.
