Includes workshop materials.
Learn the refined art of Japanese etiquette from a Kyoto master teacher of TOMO Co., the only etiquette instructor in Japan to have guided proprietresses and cultural leaders in Gion, the pinnacle of Kyoto’s thousand-year tradition of refined hospitality. She is also among the extremely few individuals granted permission to teach inside the private tea room of Ogata Kōrin at Ninna-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site founded by Japan’s imperial lineage and rarely opened for instruction.
Enjoy hands-on guidance rooted in an original etiquette textbook available exclusively through this program, along with a guided matcha tasting with traditional sweets and take-home materials to continue your practice. A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase on-site, along with exclusive pieces from the vendor.
Experience the art of refined Japanese etiquette at Casa Kyoto: Craft & Design Forum.
