Join us at the Little Tokyo Farmer's Market for a special public celebration honoring the 121st birthday of world-renowned artist and designer Isamu Noguchi. The morning/afternoon will include a dedication ceremony in tribute to Noguchi’s enduring legacy, followed by the grand return of the Noguchi Akari Light Sculptures pop-up at MISE 店, where guests can once again experience and purchase his iconic illuminated designs.
This year’s celebration also features Kazoku no Katachi, a hands-on family workshop inspired by Noguchi’s sculpture To the Issei, located in our very own plaza. Participants of all ages will explore themes of identity, growth, and belonging through the art of air-dry clay molding, reflecting Noguchi’s belief that art knows no borders.
Celebrate with us the life and legacy of an artist who transformed light, form, and space into timeless expressions of humanity. Join the festivities and be part of Noguchi’s enduring story!
