Discover the beauty of imperfection through kintsugi, the traditional Japanese art of golden repair. In this rare 1.5-hour workshop, enjoy Japanese tea and snacks as you learn about kintsugi’s cultural roots, watch a live demo of the repair process, and take part in the final kintsugi step yourself — applying red urushi and finishing your own piece with metal powder to take home.
Led by Miya Smith, POJ Studio’s Los Angeles-based instructor, this intimate session is open to ages 13+ and offers a mindful, hands-on introduction to a centuries-old craft. Materials to make your own cup are included.
Spots are limited for each session—reserve your place now and connect with the heart of Japanese tradition.
