This event is 13+.
Includes workshop materials & a take-home cup.
Discover the beauty of imperfection through kintsugi, the traditional Japanese art of golden repair. In this hour workshop, enjoy Japanese tea and snacks as you learn about kintsugi’s cultural roots, watch a live demo of the repair process, and take part in the final kintsugi step yourself — applying red urushi and finishing your own piece with metal powder to take home.
Led by POJ Studio’s Los Angeles-based instructor, this intimate session is open to ages 13+ and offers a mindful, hands-on introduction to a centuries-old craft. Materials to make your own cup are included.
Spots are limited for each session—reserve your place now and connect with the heart of Japanese tradition.
