Rhythmic Relations 2022

TAIKOPROJECT returns to Little Tokyo for their annual “Rhythmic Relations” home concert as 50 drummers of all ages perform on a wide array of taiko drums. Featuring TAIKOPROJECT along with their sister groups Bombu Taiko and Kitsune Taiko, the evening will feature a mix of traditional and modern styles and compositions, blending taiko with koto (Japanese harp), vocals, marimba, shinobue (bamboo flute), and dynamic choreography. This year’s guest artists include taiko pioneers Johnny Mori and George Abe, guitarist Glenn Suravech, and bassist Miiko Watanabe.
